Installation Instructions

Installation time: 15-20 min per bag

The CargoVise bag is a dramatic departure from the traditional ATV bag or box design. As a result, it attaches a little differently and requires attention to a few details during the installation process. It’s not a difficult installation, but it does requires more time and attention that the traditional “two strap” design.

Plan on 15-20 minutes per bag. After you install the first bag, the second will require less time. Follow the instructions that come with the unit and I guarantee it will be locked down solid on your ATV.

Choose the Right Model

The CargoVise is available in small and large. The small was designed to fit the front rack of most ATV’s. The large will fit the rear rack of most ATV’s. Choose the size that best fits your ATV and is suited to your cargo needs. Both bags attach the same way.

Correctly orient the CargoVise with your ATV rack

The instructions for orientation apply for both models.  Place the CargoVise on the rack with the CargoVise logo facing you. This orients the “wings” of the bag for correct use of the the tensioning and compression system. The wing with the logo is the “over wing”. The wing opposite you is the “under wing”. These two wings should always be used in this over/under configuration.

Attach the middle three straps

This step takes the most time and is the most crucial for proper fit. Locate the three straps on the bottom of the CargoVise. The straps attach in the middle with a side-release buckle. Disconnect all three buckles and start with the middle strap. Start with the end attached at the bottom edge of the “under wing”, or the wing opposite you. Work the strap around and then under the ATV rack opposite you. Weave it through the webbing grid on the bottom of the CargoVise and stop when the strap reaches the middle of the bag. Feed the corresponding strap on the bottom edge of the “outer wing” around and under the side of the rack closest to you in the same manner, then weave it through the webbing grid. Connect the buckle and pull on the tail ends until the strap is tight. Repeat the same steps with the other two straps. Don’t get it a hurry. Take your time and the resulting fit will be very secure!

Anchor The Four Corners

Use the four corner straps to anchor the corners of your CargVise. Choose the best location that anchors the bag both front-to-back and side-to-side. Weave the straps though the webbing grid on the bottom of the CargoVise to achieve the best and tightest fit.

Your CargoVise comes with four straps that are not permanently sewn-on. They are intended for the corners or anywhere you need the extra anchor, depending upon the shape and design of your rack.

Use a zip-tie to anchor loose loose strap ends to the bottom of the CargoVise or the rack.

Ride like the wind!

Once you have anchored the CargoVise to the machine it is ready for use!
